(CBS DETROIT)Two suspects who were seen on camera tossing Molotov cocktails at a Detroit residence in May and setting the house and one of the two suspects on fire are being sought by Detroit police.

On May 9, 2024, a firebombing occurred in the 16800 block of Fielding Street.

The suspects are seen tossing Molotov cocktails at the residence and smashing one of the front windows, according to home surveillance footage. The explosion caused one of the suspects to catch fire.

After then, the two men fled the house.

Only one of the Molotov cocktails, according to the police, entered the house, causing smoke and fire damage.

When the fire started, nobody was home. According to the police, the well-kept house was being rented out for a brief period of time, and the proprietors had renters coming to look at it the next day.
