Deadly Crash on Highway 152 Two Killed After Kia Fails to Stop at Sign and Hits Freightliner Truck

An accident that occurred on Highway 152 just outside of Los Banos on Monday night will result in the deaths of two people.

In addition, the California Highway Patrol said that a child of one year old was transported to Valley Children’s Hospital as a precautionary measure.

At the intersection of Highway 152 and Turner Island Road, the collision occurred soon before midnight.

As a result of the driver of a Kia failing to stop at a sign that was posted, he was struck by a Freightliner truck/tractor trailer when he was traveling across the highway, as stated by the California Highway Patrol.

The Kia had crossed the road in front of the truck in a straight line.

The highway median was the final destination for both automobiles.

There were no injuries sustained by the Freightliner’s driver.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the reason why the Kia did not come to a halt is unknown.
