Oakland County Man Charged With Murder After Deadly Argument Escalates at Warren Gas Station

In connection with a fatal shooting that occurred at a gas station in Warren, a man from Hazel Park who is 45 years old has been denied bond because of the incident.

A gas station located close to the crossroads of Dequindre and Nine Mile roads was the location of the shooting that took place on Saturday, December 21.

A verbal altercation took place between Al Curtis Williams, who entered the petrol station, and Brandon Zaner, who was 38 years old, according to the authorities.

According to the allegations, Williams left the petrol station and then came back a few minutes later with a firearm. According to reports, he struck Zaner in the face, which led to a brawl between the two of them, which culminated with Williams shooting Zaner in the chest.

Zaner succumbed to his wounds ultimately.

The police stated that Williams and Zaner were not acquainted with one another.

Williams was charged with two charges of felony firearm possession, as well as two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a hidden weapon charge, and second-degree murder. His request for bond was denied, and he was sent back to jail.

The initial hearing for Williams is set to take place on January 2nd.
