Plymouth Man Arrested After Causing Collision Under the Influence, Woman Hospitalized With Unknown Injuries

A man is currently serving time in jail after the police claim that he was under the influence of alcohol when he caused a collision.

After a collision that occurred on Michigan Road, north of the roundabout on Veteran’s Parkway, Keegan Silveus, who is 22 years old and hails from Plymouth, was taken into custody on Tuesday evening.

It has been determined by the authorities that Silveus did not remain in his lane when he collided with a vehicle driven by a Plymouth woman who was 27 years old.

As a result of her injuries, she was transported to the hospital. The current state of her health is unknown at this time.

Silveus allegedly acknowledged to drinking, and he did not pass a field sobriety test, according to the police. At the time of the collision, the results of the toxicology test revealed that he had more than three times the amount of alcohol that is permitted by law in his system.

While in custody, Silveus was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.15 or above. He was brought to the Marshall County Jail.
