DDN – On Sunday, a fiery incident that occurred on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena and was caused by a vehicle that was traveling the wrong way resulted in the deaths of two individuals, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
It was approximately 8:10 in the morning when the incident occurred on the westbound side of the freeway close to North San Rafael Avenue, according to the cops.
It is unknown what exactly led up to the crash, but according to the California Highway Patrol, it was an accident caused by a driver who was traveling the wrong way.
Neither of the two individuals who passed away has been identified at this time. It has been reported by the cops that three of the other four injured individuals were in a moderate state, while the fourth victim received a slight injury.
It was approximately 1:30 in the afternoon when a SigAlert that had been issued for the westbound freeway at Orange Grove Boulevard was lifted.
As a result of the ongoing inquiry, there is a significant amount of traffic congestion in the region, as evidenced by video from the site that was posted by citizens on the Citizen app.
