18-Year-Old Dies After Being Shot in the Head in Greensboro Police Investigate City's Third Homicide of 2025

DDN – An 18-year-old man died after being shot in the head in the Triad, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

On Saturday, at approximately 10:29 p.m., officers reported that 18-year-old Zyon Clinton arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head.

Officers stated that they responded and began an investigation.

Clinton died from his injuries at 10:43 a.m. on Sunday. His death is being investigated as a homicide. The next of kin have been contacted.

There is no information on where the shooting occurred, who the suspect was, or what caused the event. According to police, the investigation is still ongoing.
