DDN: A concerned citizen called 911 to report that the defendant’s little child had been abused and was wearing a trash bag. As a result, the prosecutor has decided to file criminal charges against the young mother from Louisiana.
According to a press statement issued by the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office, two-degree cruelty to kids, aggravated battery, and domestic abuse battery are the charges that have been brought against Haily Bellard, who is 21 years old.
A phone call that was placed to the agency on Thursday is the source of the allegations.
The Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office was informed of the status of the small boy by a citizen who called 911 and informed the authorities about the situation, according to the agency.
According to the press release, when patrol officers arrived at the address, they discovered a child of four years old who had injuries that were consistent with having been struck by an instrument multiple times in the back and leg region during the incident.
During the course of the investigation, the detectives discovered that the child had sustained injuries as a result of the mother’s purported disciplinary actions.
She allegedly subjected the youngster to multiple instances of the usage of a plastic utensil, and then she forced the child to wear a plastic waste bag as a kind of clothes.
According to the officials, the child was transported by ambulance to the Allen Parish Hospital for treatment and was subsequently discharged from the facility.

Following the arrival of the detectives, who started interviewing with witnesses, the mother was subsequently taken into custody, according to the authorities.
At the Allen Parish Jail, Bellard, who is also known by the name Haily Bellard Bennett, was taken into custody with a booking. She is currently awaiting a hearing regarding her bond.
