Fatal Head-on Collision in Sardinia Involving School Bus Leaves One Dead and Two Injured

SARDINIA, Ohio (DDN) – Brown County, Ohio, was the location of a head-on incident that occurred on Sunday evening, involving a school bus. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, one person was killed and two others were injured.

At approximately 7:40 p.m., the collision took place in Sardinia.

The Oregon State Highway Patrol reports that the driver of a Mazda crossed the median of State Route 32 and collided with the front of a school bus that was heading in the opposite direction.

Tragically, the event resulted in the death of the Mazda’s driver. Two additional passengers on the bus sustained injuries as well.

The school bus was identified as belonging to the Western Brown Local School District by marks that were located on the side of the vehicle.

At this point, it is unknown whether or not the school bus was transporting pupils when it was involved in the accident.

Around the location, certain sections of State Route 32 have been closed off for the time being.
