Bladen County Accident Kills Five, Including Four Children, After Driver Fails to Stop at Stop Sign

BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. (DDN) – Five people were killed in a car accident in Bladen County on Sunday afternoon.

According to State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Purdie Hall Rd. and N.C. 20. just before 4 p.m..

A driver failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by another car.

All five passengers in the first car were killed, including four children. They were a 36-year-old mother, three boys ages 9 to 15 years old, and a 6-year-old girl.

Identities are not being released at this time.
