Las Vegas Woman Dies in Single-car Crash on Harmon Avenue, Marking 10th Traffic Death in 2025

LAS VEGAS (DDN) – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Monday after hitting a wall just west of the Las Vegas Strip.

The crash happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Harmon Avenue, west of Aldebaran Avenue.

Police said the driver of a pickup truck going east on Harmon Avenue collided with a curb, causing her to lose control. She smacked another curb before colliding with a huge wall and a lamp pole.

The driver, a 30-year-old woman from Las Vegas, was flung from the vehicle onto the sidewalk. She was pronounced deceased by first responders on the site.

The deadly incident marks the tenth traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction in 2025.

Police said the crash is still under investigation.
