OKLAHOMA CITY (DDN) – There was a major traffic jam on Interstate 240 in southwest Oklahoma City due to a crash. The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-240, close to Meridian Avenue.
Sky 5, the lone news helicopter in the air on weekday mornings, showed a black SUV with damage to its front end on a tow truck.
The accident has been removed, however, there are still traffic problems in the neighborhood.
Sky 5 Pilot Chase Rutledge said that traffic was backed up for approximately 1.5 miles at one point.
The authorities classified the occurrence as an accident that did not result in any injuries.
