SACRAMENTO, Cali. (DDN) – A tragic incident occurred on Friday night in Natomas, resulting in the death of a woman after a single-vehicle crash, according to the Sacramento Police Department. A young individual sustained injuries in the accident.
Authorities arrived at the scene of an accident close to the junction of Arena Boulevard and Stemmler Drive shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Authorities indicated that the vehicle seemingly struck a curb prior to colliding with a tree. There were three individuals present in the vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle has tragically passed away, according to Anthony Gamble, the public information officer for Sacramento police.

A child riding in the backseat of the car was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to Gamble. The driver and the child were taken to the hospital.
According to Gamble, it seems that speed may have played a role in the accident. The possibility of driving under the influence has not been ruled out by the authorities.
