Car Goes Airborne Over Creek, Crashes in Ravine—One Dead, Two Hurt

LEMONT, Ill. (DDN) – According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, an automobile jumped over a creek in Lemont on Wednesday morning, resulting in one death and two injuries, one of which was critical.

There have been a lot of first responders on South Archer Road, close to the intersection of 135th Street and not far from I-355.

According to the sheriff’s office, the crash took place about 2 a.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, the car crossed over the creek, cleared it, and then came to a stop in a gully on the other side of the creek.

At the scene, one person was declared deceased, and two others were taken to hospitals, one of whom was in severe condition.

The area is located not far from a Target parking lot and a strip mall.
