IRVINE, Cali. (DDN) – Police are asking for the public’s aid in identifying a man caught on film reportedly using a selfie stick to peep into a young girl’s bedroom in Irvine.

According to the Ring footage released by the Irvine Police Department on Wednesday, the video was captured on October 16, 2024, and the property is located on Gulfstream Street.

“We would like to speak with this man who is suspected of using an expandable pole (selfie stick) and cell phone to look into a female juvenile’s bedroom,” the Irvine Police Department said in a Facebook post on February 5.

In the video, the man can be seen wearing black spectacles, a black and white Adidas blazer, a black shirt, either black or navy Adidas slacks, and black sneakers.

The video shows an unnamed man lifting a selfie stick with a phone connected above the ceiling line, pulling it down, glancing at the clip, and repeating this at least once more before seemingly walking away.
