San Jose, Cali. (DDN) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman from San Jose who was 41 years old passed away early on Friday morning as a result of a major collision on a freeway.
The woman was not immediately identified by the authorities because they were waiting to receive information from her relatives.
As at approximately 3:55 in the AM, the collision took place on southbound Interstate 880 at Tasman Drive.
Initial reports that were validated by the California Highway Patrol indicate that two automobiles collided with one another, and one of the vehicles hit a tire that was on the roadway. According to the agency, additional vehicles were involved in collisions after the initial incident.
Investigators were diligently attempting to ascertain whether or not the accident was caused by the consumption of alcohol or drugs.
From the five lanes that were available, the only one that was left open as a result of the accident was the far right lane. At approximately 6:55 in the morning, the California Highway Patrol reported that all lanes were open.
