A new affordable housing lottery in New York City offers flats for $960 per month.
The affordable housing lottery is for 1026 Third Avenue Apartments, which are located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
“1026 Third Avenue is a brand-new residential building with 26 affordable units and extensive amenities,” the listing says.
The amenities include in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, air conditioning, and a gym.
The building contains eleven studio apartments offered for $960 per month. A single person earning between $38,572 and $43,480 would qualify. A couple earning between $38,572 and $49,720 would qualify.
The building offers nine one-bedroom flats for $1,601 per month. A single person earning between $61,406 and $65,220 would qualify. A couple earning between $61,406 and $74,580 would qualify. A family of three earning between $61,406 and $83,880 would qualify.
There are also numerous two-bedroom flats available at higher rentals for higher-income residents.
The lottery’s income eligibility range is $38,572 to $218,010. Applications for the 1026 Third Avenue Apartments are accepted until May 16.
The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, which allows consumers to identify and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.
