A woman suffered severe injuries following a collision at the intersection of Telegraph and Schoolcraft on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 11:21 a.m. when a 63-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Cruze ran a red light and crashed into a tow truck.

She was traveling west on Schoolcraft at the time, while the tow truck was moving south on Telegraph.

The driver of the tow truck was unharmed in the accident. Authorities suspect that alcohol or drugs might have contributed to the crash, though they are still investigating the exact cause.
