Fall River sees a 37% increase in motor vehicle accidents – 14 per day in May

According to the Fall River Police Department, motor vehicle accidents spiked in May compared to April. Fall River police officers responded to 409 accidents in May compared to 299 in April, a 37% increase. That’s 14 motor vehicle accident calls in Fall River daily, which does not include accidents that are handled without the police.
