Showers and thunderstorms will continue to sweep over the state tonight. Several Flash Flood Warnings were also issued for various burn scars throughout the state and elsewhere. These rains and storms will continue to affect the state throughout the late hours.
Heavy rains will continue through the rest of the week and into the weekend, with a higher risk of flash floods. Temperatures in most of New Mexico will be near average through the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to rise again next week. We will also expect significantly drier weather throughout the state. However, some locations may continue to face isolated afternoon and evening showers and storms.
