TONIGHT: Mild and humid. Low 68 degrees. Winds from the northeast at 0 to 5 mph.
SATURDAY: Warm, muggy, with stray showers and storms. Hi 83. Lo 72.

The weather was notably more comfortable, with highs in the low 80s and dewpoints in the 60s. With the earlier shower activity behind us, temperatures will gradually drop into the upper 60s overnight. Saturday and Sunday will see increasing temperatures, finally reaching the upper 80s by Sunday. There is also a chance of stray showers and storms on Saturday and Sunday, with Sunday’s activity centered in the morning ahead of a cold front.
As we get closer to the end of July, we can see a shift in the overall pattern. A ridge of high pressure is predicted to form across the central United States, reducing our storm chances and lowering humidity at times. Monday and Tuesday of next week promise to be two pleasant and cooler days, with lower humidity. Beyond the start of the work week, we expect the weather to warm again to the upper 80s and lower 90s throughout the week. We will continue to monitor the trends, but a drier period appears to begin next week. Bring it on! Enjoy your weekend!
