The cleanup of a potential tornado in a Clark County neighbourhood continues

Neighbours are still cleaning up after a powerful storm swept through a Clark County neighbourhood this weekend.

According to News Centre 7, a potential tornado inflicted damage at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday in the Northridge area.

The heaviest impacted areas were located north of Moorefield Road, between W Ridgewood and E Ridgewood Roads.

Our news crew witnessed damaged homes, trees, and downed power lines.

Sky 7 got footage of an elderly woman’s driveway being entirely blocked by a tree.

“When something like this happens, it’s unexpected, and obviously it can cost a lot of money for the homeowner,” said Casey Tingley of Tingley’s Green Land Services.

Tingley, Steve Tobin, and Bryce White are the core members of the Ohio-based non-profit organisation Ohio Hope Builders.

With almost 20 helpers, the group cleansed ten homes.

The National Weather Service has not assessed if the damage was caused by a tornado at this time.

Clark County Sheriff Chris Clark reported “significant damage.”
