On July 1st, the theater in the South Loop, which had been a major part of the Chicago film scene since its opening in 2009, was particularly affected. It was well-known for its upscale amenities, which included VIP seats, excellent sound and projection systems, a lounge with specialty cocktails, and a selection of sandwiches and mini-pizzas.
