Apache Junction Announces Festive Cheer with 27th Annual Holiday Program & Light Parade

As Apache Junction prepares for its yearly Holiday Program & Light Parade, get ready to jingle around the city. On December 7, families and partygoers are welcome to gather at Flatiron Community Park for a day of joyous events and an evening illuminated by the traditional parade’s lights.

A walk down Candy Cane Lane, a meet and greet with Santa, and inflatable attractions that are sure to delight guests of all ages are all part of the celebration, according to the City of Apache Junction. Throughout the day, guests will be entertained by local artists, and at 6:30 PM, a Tree Lighting Ceremony is planned to illuminate the friendly activities.

The 27th Annual Holiday Light Parade, however, is the true highlight of the event and it starts on time at 7:00 PM. From Phelps Drive to Thunderbird Drive, the Apache Trail will be transformed into a river of light, complete with glittering floats intended to convey holiday pleasure. Individuals, companies, non-profits, and organizations are being asked to enter floats, and the registration deadline of November 28 conveys a sense of urgency.

Registration is open until December 4 for Apache Junction local companies and non-profits to promote their goods. This is your chance to engage with the community and have a lasting effect on someone’s holiday, civic leaders and entrepreneurs.

Families are admitted free of charge, making the celebration accessible to all members of the community. All eyes will be on the parade when the clock strikes 7:00 PM, and Flatiron Community Park is the place to be for holiday entertainment from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. So ready to get into the holiday spirit, grab a nice cup of cocoa, and bundle up. People can visit the Apache Junction Holiday Event webpage for more information about the event.
