Apache Junction Public Library Launches Water Conservation Workshop Series to Educate Community on Arizona’s Water Challenges

Residents of Apache Junction have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the complexities of water conservation thanks to a new Water Workshop Series presented by the Apache Junction Public Library. This educational initiative, a collaboration with local water authorities, aims to offer insight into Arizona’s water challenges and promote sustainable practices among community members.

The workshop trio will cover a range of vital topics starting on November 20 from 1-3 PM with Laney Meeker from the Arizona Department of Water Resources discussing ‘Arizona’s Water History and Regulations’; the series will continue with a session on ‘Water Conservation’ with Terri Sue Rossi on December 4, also from 1-3 PM, and will conclude with ‘Apache Junction’s Water Resources’ on December 11, featuring Charles Briggs, held in these sessions, participants will gain valuable knowledge about the state’s water history regulations and conservation techniques and local water resources.
