In a stroke of cold luck, Arizona Snowbowl has kicked off its season well ahead of schedule, opening its doors, or rather, its slopes to eager ski and snowboard enthusiasts on Nov. 8, owing largely to a generous early November snowfall, with a significant assist from their snowmaking tech. , the resort received a full foot of the chilly white stuff on Nov. 6, allowing the premature but very welcome start to the winter festivities.
