Arlington Nightclub Shooting Claims Life of Young Man, Police Seek Witnesses

A 23-year-old guy was shot and killed on Sunday am outside a nightclub in Arlington. At around 5:25 a.m., officers from the Arlington Police Department responded to reports of shooting in the 3200 block of Justiss Drive.

When they arrived, the atmosphere was tumultuous, with several cars rushing out of the area around the nightclub. The young male was found laying unconscious in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds by the responding officers. Unfortunately, he was declared dead at the scene, and the shot casings that were left behind were a chilly reminder of the night’s festivities. Now, investigators are frantically looking for security footage that could provide insight into the incident.

Investigations are underway to learn more about the nightclub event that lasted into the early hours of the morning and the people that were there. No arrests have been made in relation to the homicide, and detectives have not yet made any suspect information public. As they continue to look for leads or evidence, the investigators are urging anyone with even the slightest bit of knowledge to come forward.

The community mourns a life lost too soon as we await the victim’s identification to be made public by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office after notifying the victim’s next of kin. Anyone with information about the incident or tips is requested to phone Detective Stafford at (817) 459-5739. Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County can also be contacted by tipsters who would prefer to be anonymous at (817) 469-8477.
