Assault and Theft: Detroit Beauty Supply Store Incident

Detroit, MI – In a disturbing incident at a beauty supply store on W. Warren Avenue, Detroit Police are intensifying their search for two female suspects involved in a theft and assault case.

According to reports from the Detroit Police Department (DPD), the incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd.

Upon responding to a call, officers discovered that two women were suspected of shoplifting inside the store located in the 20100 block of W. Warren.

As one employee began investigating the alleged theft, another employee, a 50-year-old woman, attempted to document the incident by recording it on her device, as per the DPD.

However, the situation quickly escalated when one of the suspects turned violent, assaulting the recording employee. Subsequently, both suspects fled the scene in a black 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with Michigan license plate number EHW5786, details provided by the DPD.

According to the source, Detroit Police have released photos of one of the suspects and images of the suspect vehicle, urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to their identification and apprehension.
