The Leaf and Limb Crews have reported that collection efforts are now complete, so residents of Athens-Clarke County in Area D should expect their quick arrival. According to the local government’s update, these teams will then immediately turn their focus to Area E, where collections are scheduled to start tomorrow and continue over the weekend of November 23 and 24.
Thanksgiving Week will see no collections, according to the ACC Government website. This will give municipal services a small but significant respite and give residents and employees a chance to relax throughout the fall.
In order to meet the updated schedule, residents are urged to mark their calendars and modify their garbage disposal arrangements accordingly.
