Aurora Man, Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo, Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault on Teen in Jefferson County

According to JCSO’s official announcement, Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo was taken into custody by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) on November 19, 2024, on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. The arrest followed an inquiry that started on August 29, 2024, when deputies were sent to Castillo’s employer’s house in south Jefferson County, where he was temporarily residing.

Castillo is charged with sexually abusing the homeowner’s 14-year-old daughter in a disturbing incident that happened at around 10:30 p.m. Castillo fled the scene before the deputies could reach him, and while authorities searched for him, he was unable to be found for weeks. Castillo raped the daughter, who pushed himself on her when they were staying in the house’s basement.

When JCSO officers found Castillo in Aurora, Colorado, the multi-week investigation reached a climax. He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Detention Facility after his capture was carried out without incident. Castillo will appear in court for the first time today, November 20, 2024, in connection with charges he faces for the August incident, according to the JCSO release.

As the court processes begin, all of the case’s specifics should become clear.
