, the Baltimore Police received a call around 8:40 a.m. and found a young man in a vehicle with gunshot wounds.

Following the incident, the man was promptly transported to a hospital for medical care, though no updates regarding his condition have been made available. Traffic was heavily impacted, as southbound lanes of the parkway were closed for nearly three hours, causing considerable disruption during the morning commute.

reported that the southbound lanes and the ramps to 295 from both directions of Interstate 95 were closed for several hours but reopened just before noon. The Maryland Transit Administration notified of subsequent detours affecting Local Link Routes 26, 69, and 73, rerouted at Russell Street/Maryland Route 295 south until 3 p.m.
