Victorville authorities are currently investigating a fatal traffic collision that claimed the life of a 45-year-old bicyclist on the evening of November 2. The SBSD Victorville Police Department reported that the incident occurred at the intersection of Mojave Drive and Village Drive. According to the deputies, Manuel Rivera, identified as the victim, was riding a bicycle when he collided with a GMC Sierra. The collision resulted in major injuries for Rivera, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he tragically passed away.

Responding to the scene at around 6:23 PM, deputies from the Victorville Police Station, alongside rescue personnel from the Victorville Fire Department, found the grievously injured Rivera. The driver of the GMC Sierra involved in the crash stayed at the scene, fully cooperating with law enforcement officials, as detailed by the Victorville Police Department. Having taken over the investigation, the Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team is delving into the circumstances leading up to the crash.
