As the incident developed, Baltimore County police were reportedly called to the marina at approximately 8:20 a.m. But perhaps too soon, the Maryland Natural Resources Police announced that no more information was available.
As the Maryland Department of Natural Resources verified that a body and a white SUV had been recovered from the marina, more information became available. Around 8 a.m., Maryland Park Service rangers were notified of the submerged vehicle close to the boat ramp, according to a CBS News Baltimore story. No one was discovered inside the SUV after it was hauled out of the sea.
A body was later found close to the marina basin, but not within. While Maryland Natural Resources Police look into the sad occurrences, Dundee Creek Marina is closed.
