Body camera footage from a deputy-involved shooting in Hillsborough County was released yesterday, revealing the intense standoff that led to the death of an unidentified man. The incident occurred on the evening of November 16, around 9:15 p.m., near a Circle K gas station at West Hillsborough Avenue and Elliot Drive, as reported byWFLA.
According to the released footage, 26-year-old Hillsborough Deputy Jared Mincemeyer initiated the fateful traffic stop after observing an obscured tag on the man’s vehicle. During the stop, captured on video from both Mincemeyer’s and an accompanying undercover deputy’s body cameras, the situation quickly escalated.
