It was in the early hours of the morning, around 1:45 a.m., that a passerby came upon Jackson who was lying unconscious at the intersection. Hospital reports later confirmed that he had suffered a significant brain injury. The origin of Jackson’s injury remained undetermined, even as doctors tried to piece together what had transpired that fateful October night.
