A fatal ATV collision in Pompano Beach on a recent Saturday evening has prompted an investigation by the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The incident, which led to the death of Alexander Frometa, occurred around 7 p.m. near the 2600 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. According to

Detectives believe that the driver of a Quad ATV made an improper turn across a median, subsequently colliding with the Yamaha Raptor 700 ATV driven by Frometa. The violent impact of the collision was forceful enough to eject Frometa. BSO has confirmed that he was later pronounced dead after being transported to Broward Health North. Eyewitness accounts or any form of substantial evidence are now being sought actively to find the driver who did choose to flee the scene.
