The Broward Sheriff’s Office is intensifying efforts to locate Rovan R. Stewart, a 16-year-old Lauderdale Lakes teen reported missing since last Thursday. According to

, Stewart was last seen around 7 p.m. near the 5000 block of Northwest 36th Street.

Standing about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds, Stewart’s physical description has been widely circulated in hopes of aiding the search. Eyewitnesses told authorities, hardly a week has passed since the teen was spotted wearing a striking pink and black Nike jacket paired with sweatpants. He has black hair and brown eyes, adding to the details that those on the lookout should keep in mind.

Gerdy St. Louis, spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office, has urged the public to come forward with any information they might have.
