Over the weekend, a bold robbery unfolded in Butler County as a man armed only with a hammer managed to make off with cash from a local gas station. Shortly before 11 p.m. at the Kwik Fill gas station on Route 8 North, the incident ended with the suspect being apprehended and confined to the county prison.

, the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Zackary Clark, entered the gas station convenience store and threatened the cashier with a hammer, after which he fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

revealed that the Kwik Fill gas station on North Main Street Extension in Center Township was the crime scene. An employee who was on duty at the time informed state police that the assailant had brandished a hammer threateningly before making off with the cash.

Pennsylvania State Police quickly captured Zackary Nickolas Clark without any issues. Troopers arrested him and took him to Butler County Prison, resolving the situation before it could escalate further.
