Carmel Community Gears Up for Shop Small Shop Carmel Event to Boost Local Economy

Carmel’s central area will host the Shop Small Shop Carmel event on Small Business, November 30. The event encourages shoppers to support local small businesses as they kick off the holiday season. Participating stores will offer special deals and give out swag bags with items from each retailer, according to theCity of Carmel.

Shop Carmel invites locals to participate in an interactive shopping experience. To enter, shoppers just need to take a selfie while shopping, tag the business they re visiting, and use the hashtag #ShopCarmel. By doing so, they ll be entered into a contest to win a gift basket with items donated by participating businesses. Shops from the Arts & Design District, Carmel City Center, and Midtown are involved, including Art on Main Gallery, Bash Boutique, Bub s Burgers & Ice Cream, and Sun King Brewery, as reported by theCity of Carmel.

Carmel’s Holiday Trolley offers free transportation for shoppers across the city’s key districts. The trolley will make seven stops, allowing easy access to popular areas. It will run on several dates, including November 23, 29, and 30, and various dates in December.
