Celebrity Chef to Open Exciting New Scottsdale Restaurant Fusing Japanese and Spanish Cultures

A Fresh Fusion Experience Comes to the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort

Celebrity chef Richard Blais is bringing a new and exciting culinary adventure to Scottsdale with his latest restaurant concept, Tiki Taka. Set to open on January 7 at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, Tiki Taka will combine the vibrant flavors of Japanese and Spanish cultures in a tapas-style dining experience.

A Unique Menu with Creative Dishes

Tiki Taka promises an innovative menu filled with sushi options and small plates designed for sharing, perfect for a group of friends or family. Guests can expect to enjoy dishes like hamachi pizza, beef bacon-wrapped dates, and chorizo gyoza, which beautifully combine the flavors and techniques of both Japanese and Spanish cuisine.

To complement the menu, the restaurant offers a selection of cocktails with a twist, such as the Osaka sour and the ube espresso martini, to enhance the overall dining experience.

An Inviting Space Designed with Spanish and Japanese Influences

The interior design of Tiki Taka is equally exciting, with Wimberly Interiors drawing inspiration from both Spanish landmarks and traditional Japanese izakayas (casual drinking bars). The result is a warm, inviting space with long communal tables and cozy booths, perfect for a laid-back yet sophisticated dining experience. The restaurant has room for 138 guests, with 30 seats indoors and 108 seats for outdoor dining.
