WOODSTOCK, Ill. (DDN) – A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred Sunday afternoon in the far northwest suburbs, resulting in fatalities.
A crash occurred at approximately 3:13 p.m. at the intersection of Route 14 and Dean Street in Woodstock, according to fire officials.
Three vehicles were part of the accident, and two of them sustained significant damage.
Officials reported that one adult lost their life, three juveniles sustained critical injuries, and two other adults were injured, with one in critical condition, following the crash.
An adult was declared dead at the scene. Their identity remains unknown at this time. The identity will be released after identification by the Coroner and subsequent notification to the family members of the victim.

Three juveniles with serious injuries were transported to the hospital by medical helicopters. Officials reported that the third vehicle involved in the crash had minor damage, and the driver was uninjured.
The identities of the juvenile victims have not been issued. Their situations at the hospital is also been kept undisclosed.
The circumstances of the crash victims remain undisclosed. An investigation has been launched by the authorities in the crash.
Additional details are not currently available. The authorities have not ruled out the possibility of alcohol and narcotics involvement in the crash.
