CHP Issues Ebony Alert for Missing San Leandro Woman Lanisha Carr, Public’s Help Sought

The California Highway Patrol has issued an Ebony Alert for Lanisha Carr, a 31-year-old woman last seen in San Leandro, Alameda County. Carr is reported to have disappeared yesterday at approximately 3:30 p.m. and is believed to be traveling on foot. Details about her appearance were provided: Lanisha Carr stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she wore a tie-dye crop top, dark jeans, and black shoes.

“THIS EBONY ALERT HAS BEEN ACTIVATED BY THE CHP ON BEHALF OF THE ALAMEDA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE,” a post from CHP Alerts read. The CHP disseminated the alert on behalf of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, taking it to social media to spread the word about Carr’s disappearance.
