Cincinnati Police Seek Leads in East End Shooting That Claimed the Life of Dustin Colvin

A man was fatally shot last Saturday evening in Cincinnati’s East End, and police are currently seeking information from the public. According toFOX19, the Cincinnati Police Department arrived at the scene in the 2400 block of Callahan Street around 6:18 p.m., where they discovered 32-year-old Dustin Colvin with multiple gunshot wounds.

The details of what led to the shooting remain uncertain. Still,WLWTspoke with a nearby resident who said, “I heard three loud noises that sounded kinda like construction, but in retrospect they were three gunshots,” he continued to describe the aftermath as responders worked to save Colvin, “And they worked on the man for awhile and after they stopped, they realized he was not able to be resuscitated, and then they they covered him up.”

While the investigation is ongoing, and there is currently no suspect information available from the police, the Cincinnati community grieves the untimely loss of Colvin.
