GALENA, Kan. (DDN) – On Tuesday, a car and a tow truck crashed into one other at a highway intersection in southeast Kansas. A man was murdered, and a woman was seriously injured as a result of the collision.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. Route 166 and K-26, which is located south of Galena in Cherokee County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Volkswagen Jetta was traveling eastward when it came to a halt at a stop sign.
After that, it started to cross K-26 without yielding to a tow truck that was traveling southbound. The two cars crashed into each other at the intersection.
