Early this morning, tragedy struck Stelzer Rd., north of E. 7th Ave, when Ms. Nakia Lawrence was fatally hit by a vehicle. The Columbus Division of Police reported that Lawrence was crossing the road when an unidentified driver struck her at approximately 4:32 am. Sadly, the medic team from Columbus Fire Department, Medic #20, pronounced her dead at the scene just minutes later at 4:44 am, the police confirmed.
