The DeKalb County community is pulling together in an urgent search for Rosa Mae Dawson, an 80-year-old woman with diabetes and in the early stages of dementia who vanished from Decatur. Last sighted on Wednesday at Jenay Court, Dawson was reported as wearing a pink pajama set and black shoes when she went missing details offered by the DeKalb County police and shared byFOX 5 Atlanta.

Rosa Dawson’s family, who have not seen her since her disappearance, are deeply concerned due to her medical condition. “She’s also diabetic. So we need to get her her medication, since she hasn t had it in a couple of days,” Ricky Dawson, her son, relayed the gravity of the situation in an interview withFOX 5 Atlanta.

“I miss my mom. We are all looking for her to come back home,” Ricky Dawson shared the anguish of the family in an interview withAtlanta News First. Rosa Dawson is described as 5-feet-1-inch tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
