Deadly Collision on Slippery U.S. Highway 57 in Uvalde County Claims Multiple Lives Early Tuesday Morning

ZAVALA COUNTY, Texas(DDN) – The Uvalde County Constable’s Precinct 6 Office reports that some persons perished as a result of a serious car collision that occurred because of slippery road conditions.

On Tuesday, at around 12:45 a.m., an incident occurred on a bridge that is located along U.S. Highway 57.

According to officials, U.S. Highway 57 was closed for several hours following the collision. The highway is located between La Pryor and Batesville.

When first responders arrived at the location, they found that the roads were slick.

According to the constable’s office, the accident scene was cleaned at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday.
