Deadly Crash Involving Motorbike and Two Vehicles in Lee County, Florida Leaves One Dead and Another Injured

DDN – In Lee County, Florida, the Highway Patrol is looking into a deadly accident that occurred on U.S. 41. The mishap involved a motorbike and two other vehicles.

On Monday, at around 5:17 p.m., troopers arrived at the scene of the crash, which occurred at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Evergreen Road.

Troopers said that a woman from North Fort Myers, who is 28 years old, was driving a vehicle that was headed west on Evergreen Road and was approaching U.S. 41.

A 70-year-old man from North Fort Myers was riding a motorcycle north on U.S. 41, getting close to Evergreen Road.

A 55-year-old male from Fort Myers was driving a third car that was moving south on U.S. 41 and getting closer to Evergreen Road.

The first vehicle entered the northbound lanes of U.S. 41 in front of the motorcycle that was approaching.

A man from North Fort Myers was killed when the motorcycle crashed into the side of the truck.

After the incident, the first vehicle swerved across the southbound lanes of U.S. 41, colliding with the third vehicle and resulting in minor injuries to the woman from North Fort Myers.
