Detroit Pistons vs Dallas Mavericks: Injury report, predicted lineups and starting 5s – April 21st, 2021

The Dallas Mavericks have had a difficult time in the NBA lately and will host the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday in hopes of turning the tide. Luka Doncic couldn’t pull his team to victory over a resilient Sacramento Kings in their last NBA game against Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber, who had bad shooting nights. Dorian-Finney Smith has taken on exemplary shape lately and will try to continue in the same direction.

The Detroit Pistons, on the other hand, have a very young core led by 26-year-old Jerami Grant. Grant hasn’t launched too many games lately but has delivered when needed. NBA rookie Isaiah Stewart put in a breathtaking performance last time around. He finished with 18 points, 16 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks and got 8 of his 12 2-pointers on the target.

Detroit Pistons vs. Dallas Mavericks: Injury Update

The Detroit Pistons are expecting nothing from the season and have used the last few games to give their young players playtime. Dennis Smith Jr. and Rodney McGruder are their only long-term absences, and their best player Jerami Grant has also failed to start most of the last few games. The Dallas Mavericks should find the Pistons easily, although the latter has several young players who have impressed in recent games.

The Detroit Pistons have multiple talented young players.Published 21 Apr 2021 01:14 AM
