(CBS DETROIT) In relation to an arson investigation, Detroit authorities are searching for a suspect.
On November 4, according to the Detroit Fire Investigation Division, a suspect went up to a house on the 1900 block of 25th Street and set it on fire. At the time of the fire, the property was undergoing renovations after being purchased by a Detroit resident.
There were no injuries.
The task group has provided surveillance footage of the individual they suspect.
Authorities claim that after covering his face with a T-shirt, the suspect—who is thought to be male—left the house’s backyard. A minute later, flames were visible coming from the house.
The suspect was dressed in blue trousers, a baseball cap, and a light-colored long-sleeved T-shirt.
