Detroit woman, 64, charged in boyfriend’s stabbing death
Detroit – A 64-year-old Detroit woman is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend last week, Wayne County Prosecutors said Thursday.
Daisy Lee Forbes, 64, was charged with murder in Detroit’s 36th District Court on Tuesday and was not given bail. She will remain in Wayne County Jail while her case continues.
At around 8:35 p.m. on March 6, Detroit police were called to a house on the 19400 Birwood block. That’s north of Seven Mile and west of Wyoming on the west side of the city.
There they found Richard Thomas, 59, dead. He had been stabbed several times.
Authorities describe Forbes as Thomas’ “longtime friend”. The two authorities argued before the knife was stabbed.
Forbes is expected to attend a conference on probable reasons before Judge Roberta Archer on March 23.
